I've been wearing contact lenses for around 18 years and prefer them to my glasses. Iv used these lenses for many years and will continue to do so. I like the extended wear as it fits in with working long shifts where the daily/monthlys start to fail. I find the lenses quite thick compared to others but I very rarely get any tears and knicks as a result.
Bought these lenses purely on the good reviews. Expected good things! I could not bare these lenses any longer than four days. Tried removing cleaning and reinserting the next day but scratchy feeling came back within a few hours. Reverted to daily disposables.
My eyes have always been very sensitive, after reading all the good reviews i decided to buy these lenses. On my first day they felt great, comfortable and i didn`t feel them in my eyes. After 8 hrs my eyes got very tired , sore and dry so i had to use lots of eye drops....however, I decided to leave them in and see how i felt in the morning. When i woke up next morning, my eyes were sore with a burning sensation. So unfortunately these lenses are not good as a continous wear for me. They would make great daily ones. I will keep searching for the perfect lenses for me.
Ok so I raved about these when I first bought them, but I now find myself constantly wetting my eyes due to them feeling uncomfortable and dry. They seem to dry out quickly after just putting them in, and easily throughout the day, which is a shame, because extended wear contacts were a godsend to me over laser eye surgery...and they were within budget too.
Im at a loss which ones to try next...mabes the Night&Day ones, or even the cheaper ones as the reviews sound just like my experience now...I have to try something!!
I would still use extended wear however, of any brand, even with the constant wetting.
Having worn contacts for years (hard, gas permeable, daily soft) I`m finding the Biofinity continuous wear lenses the best ever. I wear them at night and my eyes never feel dry or irritated. It is as if there is nothing in my eye. My daughter also thinks they are great and says that she won`t bother with Laser eye surgery when lenses are so comfortable.
I have worn contacts for over 15 years and always purchased 2 week disposables. After finding this website I decided to try the extended wear Biofinity lenses. With my schedule, and a new baby, I had a hard time taking out my contacts every night, so I thought these would be better for my eyes. Let me say that they are wonderful! I have fallen in love with these lenses! They feel good, they dont cloud up as easily as others that Ive tried, and I dont have to take them out for 30 days. I couldn`t be more pleased with my purchase!
I have been wearing contacts for nearly 25 years and these are by far the best.They are as clear as daily disposables and you do not have to mess around every day and night ! It must be better for the health of your eyes as you are limiting the amount of contact between your fingers and your eye.
If you are in a plan with a high street supplier, you are being ripped off !! Change to ordering by the internet and have your eyes tested by an independant.
These are a very comfy lense to wear, quite thin but not too easily broken either. I wouldn`t recommend for the night and day wear though as found they gave gungy eye mornings. Great for a daily wear and last well though.
I have always suffered from dry eyes (been wearing contacts for nearly 15 years), and after reading reviews on this product about Biofinity helping with dry eyes, I decided to try them. They are far worse than the lenses I used to wear, soooo dry I actually have to take my lenses out every day before I even finish work. Completely useless to me if I can`t even wear them for a whole working day. My eyes are scratchy and dry within 2 hours of putting them in. Will never buy again, going back to my Frequency 55 lenses.
NOTE to others - the more water content a lens has, the worse it is for dry eye sufferers as the lens pulls the water from you eye to maintain itself. Look for lenses with less water to help with dry eyes.
Have worn lenses for the past 2yrs and these are by far the worse experience i`ve had with them. Uncomfortable once in and continuously for as long as i wore them, only last 2 days it was that bad. No way would sleep in them again, after one night woke up with very sore dry eyes and mucus sticking to lashes, never had a problem with dry eyes or lenses till these. Would never recommend.
I love these lenses. They`re extremely comfortable and very clear. It`s like having perfect vision again - without the need for surgery. I wore daily diposables when they first came out, and these are without a doubt, a huge improvement. Great price and very quick delivery.
I`m now able to gaze longingly into the middle distance while retaining a clear perspective on life. Thank you.
These lenses have been fantastic. More comfortable than daily disposables - I forget I`m wearing them, even first thing in the morning! Have very occasionally had minor discomfort when they have just gone in but this is due to my hands/the lense not being compeltely clean; a quick rinse in the soloution (and just in water on one occasion) and everything was perfect. Great product!
I just brought the contact lenses and I have to say they are brilliant! So comfortable and no problems getting them in. I would definately recommend these to anyone. I khow there not the cheapest lenses out there, but the few extra pounds are totally worth it.
Having tried many different types of contact lenses these are by far the best , seven years of trying and almost giving up on contact lenses due to having dry tired eyes after 6 hours of wearing lenses i was close to giving up, i would say to anyone who is thinking of trying these lenses do not hesitate they are excellent i have tried them all and these really do work.
Admittedly a very late convert to Monthly Lenses, I`d always assumed that gritty end of the day feeling from my Daily lenses was just how contact lenses were meant to be. However its a revelation with these Monthlies. Most days I forget I`m wearing them, and I`ve not opened my glasses case for months now. Highly recommended.
I have been wearing dailies for years..never making them last the time they should as they were always getting damaged when inserting them.
Didn`t fancy monthlies as I thought they would really stick to the eyeball after a month..but no..they come out as easy as dailies and no more daily fiddling. Exceptionally comfortable to wear..in they go and forget about them for a month.
I use sterile water..a drop in each eye when I wake up as sometimes my eyes feel a bit dry..otherwise...fantastic.
